The war memorial was moved from its original position on Wentworth Street on Monday 28th October 1991. Coronation Gardens, on the far left, were created in 1953 to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Rishworth Street extends downwards and Laburnum Road is to the left.
