“A LONG SPELL
As stated last week Sergt A Warrington of the Royal Artillery, whose home is 14, Broomhill Crescent, Knottingley and who was employed by Messrs Bagley & Co, Knottingley, before joining the Army, went to India about nine years ago. From India he moved to Persia and then into the Middle East, where he was taken prisoner and sent to Italy. After a long spell in hospital he was transferred to a camp in Northern Italy and is now in Germany.”
