Hawe Hill Park in Normanton

A black and white postcard showing Hawe Hill Park, off Castleford Road, Normanton.  The picture shows the back of Normanton Library and terrace houses can be seen on Castleford Road.  The lake is visible in the foreground.  The park was opened between 1904 and 1905.  There were ornamental lakes, a bowling green, bandstand and a children's playground.
