Playgroup at Snapethorpe Infants School, Wakefield

The children stand in the foreground with their mothers stood behind.  In the background stands what is probably the main hall of the school, which was opened on 24th July 1931 by Sir James Bailey, Vice-Chancellor of Leeds University and, in 2003, became part of Snapethorpe Primary School.
