A sepia postcard which shows a view of South Kirkby Colliery buildings in front of which are both incoming and outgoing trains. The pit head machinery can be seen in the centre and the left side which would have been used to lift coal to the surface and to transport the miners. The postcard is postmarked 'South Kirkby'.
