Interior of Christ Church, Knottingley

A black and white photograph showing the interior of Christ Church, Knottingley.  This view looks down the nave towards the east end of the church, and the altar, behind which are highly arches stained glass windows. Christ Church was built in 1848, and demolished after 1970.  The church is ordered in typical Victorian style, with pulpit to the left, and eagle lectern to the right.  This photograph is difficult to date, but the electric lights would appear to indicate a twentieth century date.  Internal Re
